The Butter Lamp House is a sacred sanctuary dedicated to the timeless Vajrayana tradition of lighting butter lamps, a practice of profound spiritual merit. Each lit lamp symbolizes the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of wisdom, fostering the conditions for enlightenment. Situated at the entrance of the main temple at Dechen Choekhor Ling Mahavihara, the Butter Lamp House is a thoughtfully designed structure that accommodates the daily offering of butter lamps. Its architecture seamlessly blends tradition with functionality, creating a space that is both inspiring and accessible for practitioners.
