Kyabgon Adeu Rinpoche was an extremely important master of the Drukpa Kagyu Lineage, especially following the Cultural Revolution, during which many great Drukpa Kagyu Lineage masters passed away. When teachings of the Drukpa Kagyu Lineage was faced with extinction, Adeu Rinpoche was the only remaining complete Lineage Holder of the Drukpa Kagyu.

In 1940's, the 8th Drukpa Choegon Rinpoche had already prophesized that the reason he choose to confer empowerment in Nangchen Garh (Tsechu Monastery) rather than Khampagar was because Adeu Rinpoche will in future be responsible for the propagation and transmission of his lineage.

Prophetically, at the end of 1980, Adeu Rinpoche was invited to Tashi Jong in India to pass on the entire lineage of the Drukpa Kagyu tradition to the present 9th Drukpa Choegon Rinpoche and the present 9th Khamtrul Rinpoche, and many other tulkus of the Drukpa Kagyu Lineage. Later he was invited to other part of India and Nepal in early 1990s, where he gave complete lineage transmissions to almost all the Drukpa Kagyu rinpoches, khenpos and monks. In later part of 1990's, Adeu Rinpoche gave the complete empowerments of the Drukpa Kagyu Lineage to the local tulkus in Nangchen. About 51 tulkus and 1600 monks and nuns were present to receive the empowerments and oral transmissions.

In this way, Adeu Rinpoche became the main lineage master of Drukpa Kagyu tradition for all the Drukpa Kagyu tulkus, and revered as one of the Golden Rosary Masters of the Drukpa Kagyu.

THE IMMENSE BLESSING OF THE ENLIGHTENED MASTERS ON THEIR PARINIRVANA ANNIVERSARIES

Like the anniversary of Lord Buddha's Mahaparinirvana, the parinirvana anniversary of great enlightened masters is regarded as a significant and particularly blessed day for serious Vajrayana practitioners.

The physical body of the gurus may have left this world, but their blessings remain. It is said that the guru's blessings are most powerful at the moment they enter nirvana and on all their parinirvana anniversaries. Therefore, these are the best moments with the highest possibilities for meditators and practitioners to become enlightened or heighten their realization.

On this day, practicing Guru Yoga with fervent devotion, supplicating earnestly, and meditating undistractedly, is akin to merging our ordinary minds with the enlightened mind of the masters. The powers of blessing and merit accumulated are incredible.

All are welcome to participate in this auspicious and beneficial event.
